About Salsa

Most people have heard about Salsa, but what exactly is Salsa?

It originally means “sauce” in Spanish. Perhaps we could say it means, “Something spicy in the music”. The word “Salsa” in Cuba only refers to music and “Casino” is used for the dance which is called “Salsa” internationally.

“Casino Rueda” is the term for a group performance of Casino.
